The Center for Disease Control has reported that human connection leads to longer life, better health, and strong feelings of belonging. In our social media and online dating age, the human spirit is flailing. Back to the Basics was created to encourage the innate need for human interaction. We create a fun space for singles to meet face to face with the goal of promoting social connection, and maybe even finding the one.

We believe that even if you are not actively looking for a mate, you will leave our events feeling full and refreshed. You will have real, controlled conversations with potential friends, maybe a networking pal, and most ideally, future dates! Mental health will improve. Smiles will pervade. Joy will fill our room. And if you're tempted to just stick with online dating, consider this...can you feel chemistry through a screen?
